Paul Kuntze is a Berlin-based painter whose innovative work explores the intersection of traditional art of fresco and contemporary abstraction. Drawing inspiration from the grandeur of Renaissance and precision of the Old Masters, Kuntze creates complex multi-layered paintings that channel the raw energy of the modern world.
Through an utterly unique technique: starting with the street art inspired spray painting, then building masses of paint with a palette knife, the artist encourages us to perceive beauty through a contemporary prism.

In October 2025 Paul Kuntze’s work has been presented at the Ritz Carlton Residences in partnership with Bentley, followed by the exhibition at the Discovery Art Fair in Frankfurt. Upcoming exhibitions include New Delhi, New York, St. Louis, culminating in his first museum exhibition in Germany in 2026.
