“LAGUNA CONNECTION Project: Between Ocean and Humanity” public art installation is coming to the City of Laguna Beach

The iconic Red Telephone Booth in the City of Laguna Beach, California is set to become the site of an unexpected encounter — a vibrant fish lounging on reconstructed American-style furniture.

“LAGUNA CONNECTION Project: Between Ocean and Humanity” is a forthcoming public installation by the CANVAS – represented artist VASA (Vasilisa Lipatova) from V+V ArtLegacy in collaboration with her husband Viktor Erdyneev. Selected for the Red Telephone Booth art project by the Arts Commission of the City of Laguna Beach.

The work is an allegorical intersection of ecology and American heritage — exploring the boundaries between natural environments and cultural objects. It challenges viewers to question how we live with and affect the world around us.

LAGUNA CONNECTION Project is funded by the lodging establishments and the City of Laguna Beach. It will be shown as a part of the City of Laguna Beach Public Art Program @lagunabeachculturalarts.
