I would consider my work to be in the field of abstract expressionism.
Every painting has multiple layers and is painted over a long period of time.I work with several tools like different brushes, acrylic, sprays and a palette knife. I am fascinated by the contrast between soft brushstrokes and masses of paint applied with a palette knife. This creates a unique structure and perspective. I try to paint as precisely as possible to get the desired effect.
A lot of my inspiration comes from ceiling paintings as well as modern abstract or minimalistic works.”
