Andrea Mongenie is a Paris-based artist whose paintings explore the interplay of light, texture, and movement through vibrant colour and gestural form. Rooted in abstraction, her work remains attentive to atmosphere, balance, and emotional resonance, creating compositions that feel both intuitive and composed.
Recent works reflect themes of motherhood, care, recovery, and personal transformation, bringing a quieter sense of depth to the surface of the painting. This sensibility gives the work both immediacy and softness, while allowing for a more contemplative emotional register to emerge over time.
Andrea Mongenie’s work has been featured in HOME Magazine, Elle Deco, and Homes & Gardens, and she has completed commissions for Liberty London, The Hoxton Paris, Soho Home, Payot and Verneuil la douce – Demeure d’Ar.
